Salon Perfect One Love

This is Salon Perfect Love over a host of pastel polishes.  You can find this brand at Walmart, about 4$.  I think this topcoat is gorgeous over pastels.  I was hoping the top coat would unify this manicure more.  Oh well, it is close to Easter, so good enough.  The glitter distribution was great on this polish.  Good formula.  The glitter changes color as you tilt your nails.  IDK if it is technically flakie glitter or larger holographic glitter, but it is pretty.

April Showers

The base colors for this manicure are Zoya Breezi  and Zoya Harley.  I used Rimmel Posh Pink and Wet 'n Wild Black Creme for the umbrella.  I used Essie Pure Pearlfection for the raindrops (they show up better in real life).  I used dotting tools for all the nail art.

Valentine's Day Manicure

Happy Valentine's Day!  The base color of this manicure is OPI I Think In Pink and I used Wet 'n Wild I Red a Good Book for the accents.  I used the polish brush itself for the heart french tips and I used a dotting tool to make the lip shapes.

Penguins

Penguins are pretty easy.  On my left hand I liked the penguin on the pinkie and thumb.  On my right hand I liked the ring finger penguin.  I thought the polar bear and the peeking penguin were also sort of cute.  I used the nail polish brushes themselves to do almost all of the black penguins and white belly parts.  I used this Youtube tutorial to do the dancing penguin.  Surprise, it is cuter dancing on youtube.

NYC Tudor City Teal wtih a Sinful Colors Green Ocean Gradient

This is NYC Tudor City Teal with a Sinful Colors Green Ocean gradient and reverse gradient accent nails.  Green Ocean is a flakie.  I believe this color combo would probably end up looking Green Ocean does in the bottle.  I'll have to try a full nail one day to know for sure.

Zoya Blu

Zoya Blu weirdly makes my very pale skin look tan.  (Yes, I consider that tan.  All of you who actually have some melanin in your skin quit laughing.)  Blu seems to be a bright white pigmented polish with some blue color mixed in.  It has surprisingly good coverage in one coat, but I used two.  I like it on its own, but I can envision lots of nail art with Blu.  I can see mixing this with navy or mixing it with white and silver.  We'll have to see what I come up with.

Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Black Tie

This is Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Black Tie.  It is a black polish with a green/purple duochrome.  It ends up looking like an oil slick.  I don't know if they still sell this polish, but there are a lot of dupes.  Zoya Ki is one.  Sally Hansen polishes and I just aren't friends.  They don't wear well for me.

Zoya Zuza

This is Zoya Zuza.  It is a Tiffany blue polish with a foil finish.  It is just gorgeous and pretty unique.  I like it on my nails when I'm pale in the winter and it makes a gorgeous pedicure in the summer.  Be sure to use a base coat with this one because it will stain your nails blue without one.  I have Bison football players written on my hand since I was doing a NDSU Bison manicure next.

The NDSU Bison are Three Time National Champions!

Here is the manicure I wore to watch the NDSU Bison win their third national football championship in a row.  I had planned to do 3ish jerseys, an nail that looks like a football, and the rest green.  I've been sick lately and not thinking clearly.  I couldn't think of any players names, not even Ojuri or Jensen.  I asked my dad for help with their names, and before I could stop him, he had named 10 players.  So, onto my fingers they went.  Go Bison!
