Zoya Eva

Zoya Eva is sort of a rosy red coral (is that a thing?).  It is a pretty color, but is now discontinued.  You can find it on Amazon though.

Aqua Ombre and Gradient

From light to dark:  Zoya Dillon, Zoya Zuza, Spoiled Deeper Dive, Zoya Remy.  I did a gradient on the thumb using a make-up sponge.

Zoya Erika

Zoya Erika, three coats.  I actually looked at this one in real life and thought it was the perfect color light pink.  However, it was not good when I wore it.  I'm hoping it will look better in the winter when I'm paler.

Gradient Dots on a Gray Ombre

Going from dark to light I used Zoya Raven, Zoya Noot, L'Oreal Greycian Goddess, Zoya Harley, and Wet 'n Wild French White Creme.  I used a dotting tool for the dots.

Daisies Manicure again

I did a daisies manicure again.  I liked it better over the mint green polish, but I used that bottle all up.  Here is the original post I copied the manicure from.

Jordana Celebration

Jordana Celebration is a great spring glitter.  It sometimes looks like this color and sometimes it looks more pastel.  I did one thin coat and one thicker coat.  I think three thin coats may have worked better.

Flower Accent Nail

The base color for this manicure is a super old Rimmel polish in Speed Dating.  This looked better on pinterest, but I did O.K.  *sigh*  Everything looks better on pinterest.

Easter Nails

I do basically the same Easter manicure every year.  I used to believe that some day I'd get a normal bunny and chick.  I don't think that is true anymore.  I'm sure my bunny will always exhibit some odd emotion.  This year's bunny was sad (and a little smudged) again.  I've had bunnies that have been in bar fights before.  This year's chick is barely cracking out of the shell and is being born breech (oops).

Aqua Ombre Manicure

This is an Ombre manicure of Zoya Dillion, Zoya Zuza, and Wet 'n Wild Spoiled Deeper Dive.

Green Gradient

The base color is Finger Paints A Tough Art to Follow.  I sponged on Zoya Holly and added some Pure Ice Heartbreaker for the gradient.  The tips of this mani sorta glowed in real life.

Valentine's Day Manicures

With this post I'm officially caught up.  Now to keep posting as I go and not fall behind.

This is OPI I Think In Pink, Wet 'n Wild Candylicious, and Rimmel Pro Posh Pink as the base colors.  Candlicious and Posh Pink looked different in the bottles, but are very similar on the nails.  I used the Salon Express nail plates for this manicure and the one below.

The one below is yet another failed attempt at a conversation heart manicure.  I tried one a few years ago with more pastel colors and very messy words that was a big fail.  This one did not work either.  I'd like to say I'm going to stop trying to do this, but I saw a cute one on youtube that I might try another year.  I don't learn.

Zoya Lael

Zoya had a black Friday mystery box and this was one of the polishes I got. It is a nice dark purple, but a little dusty for my taste.  I think I prefer Wet 'n Wild Disturbia.  I'd have to wear them back to back to be able to tell, because they are very similar in color.

Zoya Rekha

Zoya Rekha is one of the polishes that came in my Black Friday Mystery Box.  It is a nice dark red, but I'm not much of a red person.

Santa Manicure

For this manicure I used Zoya Laney as a base and used Zoya Jade and Zoya Ginessa for the Santa stuff.  I did Rudolf on the thumb on the other hand.  I loved this manicure.

Zoya Ziv

Zoya Ziv is a really pretty gold foil.  Unfortunately it is not the perfect gold for me.  It is hard to find the perfect gold for my skin tone.  Below I added dots of Zoya Jade and Zoya Holly.

Bison Manicures

These are the manicures I wore to watch the NDSU Bison in their quest to win their 4th national championship in a row.  That's a 4-pete.  Four.  Pete.  The last game was a heart attack inducer, but they managed to pull it out. Go Bison!
Above I used Spoiled Mind Your Beeswax, Rimmel Pro Rags to Riches, and China Glaze Mahogany Magic.  Below I used Milani Good Morning Sunshine instead of the Spoiled yellow.

Olaf Fail

Not the best Olaf.  He looks more like a deranged zombie Burt.  I tried to follow the tutorial below, but no dice.  The base color is Essie Bikini So Teeny with Zoya Ginessa and Zoya Trixie dots.  The second pic is the abominable snowman from Rudolph.  My snowman looks like he is just about to burst into tears.  Oh well, they can't all be winners.

Zoya Noot with Esie Ignite the Night

Essie Ignite the Night is a pretty charcoal glitter that almost gives you full coverage in two coats.  You do need a base color though because some nail does show through.  Ignite the Night is also pretty over a blue base.

Essie Hors d'Oeuvres

This picture doesn't do Essie Hors d'Oeuvres justice.  It is a very shiny gold glitter with just enough silver glitter to add interest.  I really like this one.  Below I added a slanted French tip of Revlon Emerald City.  It is a good way to extend the life of a chipping manicure.

Three polish fail

I still like this mani in theory, but not in practice.  It is Wet 'n Wild Megalast Bite the Bullet and I Need a Refresh Mint with China Glaze Foie Gras.  The needle marble is a total mess.  I like some of the nails.  But, overall, it is just too busy.  I may try something similar in the future with different colors.  Maybe two nude colors and one color color.

Halloween Manicures

The first manicure is Essie Brazilliant and Sally Hansen Black Tie.  I did the Jack 'O Lantern with a dotting tool.  The second manicure is Zoya Ginessa, Spoiled Mind Your Beeswax, and Essie Brazilliant gradient.  Essie Pure Pearlfection is layered over the top. I'm pretty happy with both manicures.  This is my best candy corn mani to date.

Brown with a Flakie Gradient

This is Essie Partner in Crime with a gradient of Essie Shine of the Times.  This manicure just screamed fall.  I love it.  I did this one for Thanksgiving last year.

Brown Dots

Wet 'n Wild Megalast Bite the Bullet with Wet 'n Wild Spoiled Pumping Gas dots.  I liked this manicure for fall.

Wet 'n Wild Megalast Bite the Bullet

This is Wet 'n Wild Megalast Bite the Bullet.  I think this is a pretty color, but it is just O.K. on me.  I'm a huge fan of the Megalast polishes formula and brush.  It wears really well on me.

Essie Partner in Crime and Hors D'Oevres

This is Essie Partner in Crime with Essie Hors d'Oeuvres as an accent.  I really like both of these polishes.  Partner in Crime is a great dark brown without looking black.  Great for fall.  Hors d'Oeuvres is prettier in person.  It is a very bright, sparkly gold glitter polish with just enough silver to add interest.

Zoya Paloma Gradient

This is a gradient of Zoya Paloma.  Paloma is a true jelly polish.  There is one coat of Paloma near the cuticles and it increases to 4 coats at the tips.  This mani was so nice I did it twice. :)  Paloma also is great for jelly sandwiches (one coat jelly polish, one coat glitter polish, final coat jelly polish).  I really like Paloma.

Zoya Harper

Zoya Harper is a pretty cool polish  It is a Barbie pink jelly with gold shimmer and small round holographic particles imbedded withing the polish.  It is such a gorgeous polish.  I highly recommend it.  Zoya Muse is a similar polish in a teal color.  Muse looks to be the perfect mermaid color and it is on my wish list.

Ruby Wing Strawberry Shortcake

Shade

Sunlight
I'm still working on catching up from last year.
Strawberry Shortcake is a scented solar polish.  It is fake strawberry scented.  Like a Strawberry Shortcake doll from the 80's.  I'm not a fan at all of the scent, but it fades after a day and isn't super annoying.  I wish it weren't scented, but I can live with it.  This polish changes color in the sunlight.  In the shade it is a gorgeous gold with rainbow glitter and holographic shimmer.  In the sunlight it is a strawberry colored glitter with holographic glitter.  Both colors are gorgeous.  It seems like the longer I own this polish the less it wants to change.  Now it will change on day one in sunlight, but won't change after that.  If it wasn't scented and changed easily on day three this would be the best polish evah.

Zoya Rikki

Zoya Rikki is a green with a glass fleck finish.  Zoya does this finish very well.  Indoors it has more of a dollar bill green color.  The pic below in in the shade (and blurry).  After I received this polish, I realized that it is very close to my Rimmel Pro Rags to Riches.  I like this color, but certainly didn't need two bottles of it.  Oh well.  Zoya is my favorite brand.  It wears well on me.

Needle Marble French

This is a needle marble with Zoya Blu as the base.  I'd guess that I used Rimmel Pro Midnight Blue, Zoya Harley, and Zoya Breezi for the marble, bu I don't know for sure.  I would have swirled the polishes with the the pointed end of a dotting tool, but you can also use a pin.

Pastel Rainbow Gradient Fail

This one looked better on Pinterest.  I failed.  I failed hard.

Dots and Flowers

I think I'd like this one better with a different base color.  The base color is Finger Paints Go Van Gogh.

Daisy French

Cute, but looks nothing like it did on Pinterest.  :)  The base color is Wet 'n Wild Megalast On a Trip.

Fried Egg Pansies

This is another fail.  I tried to do pansies, but they ended up looking more like fried eggs.  The base color is Zoya Harley.

Green Blue Gradient

A gradient with Wet 'n Wild Garden Hose and Bird Bath.  I don't recall any details on how I did this one.

Stevie Roses

I'm catching up on my post.  I'm Wayyyyyyyy behind.  This is a fail.  I tried doing two roses on each nail with Zoya Stevie over Wet 'n Wild Megalast Bite the Bullet.  They look like swirls, but not much like roses.
