Maybelline Color Show Blue Blowout

This is Maybelline Color Show Blue Blowout.  It is another polish from the CVS clearance sale.  This is a fairly unique color.  It is between a silver and turquoise with a metallic finish. You could get by with one thick coat of polish and no top coat and it dries quickly.  Unfortunately it chipped in 3-4 days on me, which is not good.  The average polish wears 5 days on me and a good polish will wear 6-7 days.  Since it chips, I won't be getting a lot of Maybelline, but I do like that you can slap it on and run out the door.
EDIT:  As someone else on the internet pointed out, these are 0.23 oz, less then half the size of a 0.5 oz OPI or Zoya.  If you pay 4$ a bottle for these, that makes them on par with Zoya, OPI, and Essie prices per ounce.  They are definitely not worth that price tag IMHO.
EDIT:  This one stains nails blue.

Maybelline Color Show Navy Narcissist

This is the first time I've tried Maybelline Color Show.  This one is Navy Narcissist.  It is a metalic navy.  It is a true one coater.  It is not a "you could get by with one coat" or a "needs one thick coat" polish.  It is a "put on one regular coat and go".  I always, always do two coats, but I felt zero need for a second coat of polish.  I added a top coat, but you could easily get by without one.  I haven't tested Maybelline to see how long this polish wears on me yet.  I'm in a polish changing kind of mood at the moment.  It is on 50% clearance at CVS right now.
EDIT:  Someone else on the internet pointed out that these bottles contain 0.23 oz and your average polish (OPI, Zoya, etc.) contain 0.5 oz.  If you pay the CVS full price of 4$, that makes these a similar price per ounce as OPI and Zoya.  They are definitely not worth that price IMHO.

Maybelline Full 'n Soft Mascara

Maybelline Full 'n Soft mascara is the go to mascara for people who have problems with mascara clumping.  If clumping is your major issue with mascara, then this one is certainly worth trying. Mascara always clumps for me.  Full 'n Soft was definitely the least clumpy mascara I've ever used.  The downside is that it smears, and this is the waterproof formula.  It doesn't give you big, bold nearly fake lashes.  So if that is what you want, you should try another mascara.  If you prefer a more natural lash, then this one is for you.  It darkens the lashes and make them slightly longer without clumping.  For me, the smearing is a deal breaker.  I'm going back to L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes.  That mascara also has its problems, but I prefer it's downfalls to the smearing of Full 'n Soft.
Left:  no mascara,  Right:  Full 'n Soft
Mascara is a very "your mileage may vary" product.  Peoples lashes hold curl better/worse, are thicker/thinner, longer/shorter, etc.  How mascara works varies greatly from person to person.  That is why there are so darn many mascaras on the market.  What mascara I love you may hate and vice versa.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Cream Foundation Review

Product Name Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Cream Compact Foundation SPF 18
My skin type Normal
My experience with this type of product. I'm a bit of a project junkie when it comes to foundation. I'm always looking for the new latest and greatest. Even if I find a foundation I like, I buy the "shiny new one" the next time. I mean, what if it is better? I've tried several of the cream to powder style foundations. I like using cream to powder foundations from the fall to the spring. When worn over sun block in the summer, my skin seems too oily for this type of foundation.
What I look for in this product. I want a nice color and a medium coverage.
Who should use cream to powder foundation? These are best for slightly oily to slightly dry skin. If your skin is dry, it will highlight it's dryness. If your skin is oily, it will make it look oilier.
My rating: 4 sit and spins

What I like about it.
I love how this style of foundation tends to give you a dewy look. I like that you don't have to apply powder right away. You can add powder as you need it for touch ups. This color is really nice. It is natural ivory, light 3. It errs on the yellow side, which is good. Being slightly too peach or slightly too pink is bad for most people's skin tones. It has a proper sun screen, 10.5% titanium dioxide SPF 18. Titanium Dioxide is one of the 4 sunscreen ingredients that give you goodUVA/UVB protection. This has a good medium coverage, but less coverage then Revlon New Complexion.
What I hate about it. There is not a very light option if you are pale. I used this color in the fall and will use it again in the spring when my skin gets a tad darker (despite my best sunscreen application efforts). I haven't tried their lightest color, but I don't think this brand has a great "pale of February" option for me. The packaging is weird, but not awful. The top that has the foundation flips open, like you would expect. The bottom twists open for the applicator. I forget this every day. I don't like the applicator. Instead of a sponge applicator that I prefer, it has a applicator like you find in pressed powder. It isn't terrible, but I like the sponge applicator much, much better.
Would you buy this again?I live the Revlon New Complexion better because of the packaging and applicator. The Revlon also has slightly more coverage, which I prefer. I would have bought this again if I hadn't found the Revlon...ya know, unless I had seen something shiny and new.
